Interesting. I didn't find that the dialect posed any real problem for me even though I am used to the Tokyo/Kanto dialect. These conversational podcasts give a good look into everyday life. I really prefer them to the canned, formal speech used to test students. Of course, one has to recognize both.

ありがとうございます~!かわいい親子^^
久しぶりに関西弁を聞きました。 実は、5ヶ月大阪市に留学して、大阪弁しか話さない優しいホストファミリと暮らしていました。しかし、帰国してからずっと標準語を勉強していますので大阪弁をどんどん忘れてきたんですが・・・
よく通学の途中で、「ランドセル」を持っている小学生を見かけました。日本の文化にはそんなかばんが独特のことですよね^^
ちなみに私は高校を卒業してから、日本の大学に進学する計画があるのど、こんなポッドキャストが本当に助かります~~
